Smartphone Market Share and Its Contribution in the Global Market

 Market share is the percentage of the total purchases of a customer of a certain product or service s that goes to a company. Example is when the consumer buys 100 pens and 30 of which are from the company, then the company holds 30% market share. Market share can be value of volume. The value market share is based on the total share of a company out of those total segment sales. The volume on the other hand is the actual number of units that a company sells out of those total units sold in the market. Smartphone company also has market share, and it has a significance and measures consumer’s preference for a product over from those similar products. Like smartphones, through market share it can be measured what is most preferred brand of phones by the customers based on its sales.
